The Lustrac family had a great influence on the Château de Goudourville. Among their numbers, Naudonnet Lustrac distinguished himself as a brilliant captain in the service of the King and defender of the Kingdom against the English.
During the Renaissance, Marguerite de Lustrac, married to Marshal Jacques d’Albon of Saint André, was, for 16 years, the lady-in-waiting to Queen Catherine de Medici. Both have transformed the architecture of the Castle.
